Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you mediate?
The online mediation platform I use works great whether you are down the street or across the state, so I can mediate anywhere in Texas. I am not mediating in-person while the COVID-19 risk remains.
What software platform do you use?
I have been using Zoom for years and have always been pleased with the results. My Zoom account is setup with all the recommended security measures and we have never had an issue during a meeting or mediation.
How long do mediations last?
Half day mediations are usually 4 hours and start at either 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM. Full day mediations are usually 8 hours and start at 9:00 AM
Can you help me with the technology?
Zoom is very easy to use, but I send out very comprehensive instructions as well as links to in-house videos that show you exactly what you need to know. One of my team members will also contact each participant before the mediation to make sure everyone is ready.
